Abstract

PT Dynapack Indonesia is a leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging in Indonesia. Established in 1959, PT Dynapack Indonesia has developed in plastic industry and today, it has five subsidiaries (Dynaplast, Dynaplast Vietnam, Berli Dynaplast, Sanpak Unggul and Rexplast) and 14 production center. PT Dynapack Indonesia realized that to sustain in this competitive business in Indonesia, they need to have a strategy for supporting company performance. To execute the strategy, PT Dynapack Indonesia used Balanced Scorecard Strategic Map to measure and maping its strategic goal. According to Kaplan and Norton theory about executing the strategy, company need to follow six steps and one of them is aligning organization with the strategy. HR Best Practices Department along with Office Strategic Management (OSM) are responsible in controlling and learning strategic execution process in PT Dynapack Indonesia and its subsidiaries. PT Dynapack Indonesia gives the opportunity for university student to learn about strategic management as a whole and how to measure the strategic performance through internship program. During this internship, the writer believes that applying strategic management in an organization is one of organization concern to sustain in this competitive business.
