Abstract

Tugas karya akhir ini mengenai pelaksanaan kegiatan integrated marketing communications pada perusahaan perbankan yaitu PT. Bank Mega, Tbk. Bank Mega merupakan salah satu bank di Indonesia yang memberikan layanan priority banking pada nasabahnya. Priority banking Bank Mega, dikenal dengan MegaFirst. MegaFirst perlu menjalin dan membina hubungan dengan nasabahnya agar mendapat dukungan, kepercayaan dan tercipta citra positif sehingga dapat mencapai target funding dari para nasabahnya. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dalam kerja magang, diketahui bahwa MegaFirst menjalankan fungsi kegiatan integrated marketing communications seperti yang dimaksud dalam konsep menurut Schlutz, Don E. dalam bukunya “Integrated Marketing Communications: Putting It Together& Making It Work”. Hanya saja MegaFirst tidak mempunyai divisi public relations khusus untuk menjalankan kegiatan integrated marketing communications tersebut dan pelaksanaan kegiatan integrated marketing communications dilaksanakan oleh divisi Acquisition& Portfolio. Dalam upayanya menjalankan kegiatan integrated marketing communications, MegaFirst melakukan serangkaian kegiatan-kegiatan untuk mempersuasi audiencenya untuk meng-apply sebagai relationship managers di MegaFirst. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan tools IMC versi Kotler dan Armstrong dalam bukunya yang berjudul “Dasar-Dasar Pemasaran”.
