Abstract

Training untuk karyawan berperan penting dalam perusahaan sebagai sarana pembelajaran agar perusahaan memiliki daya saing yang tinggi. Dalam industri alat berat, alat – alat yang digunakan terus berkembang mengikuti kemajuan teknologi dan permintaan pasar. PT. Altrak 1978 selaku perusahaan distributor dan sole agent alat berat untuk brand Cummins tentu harus menyesuaikan karyawannya yang menangani brand tersebut dengan informasi dan kemampuan yang terbaru melalu Training Cummins Engine Qualification. Salah satu penentu kesuksesan training adalah dengan mengukur training satisfaction karyawan. Training satisfaction dapat ditentukan oleh tiga hal, yaitu perceived trainer performance, perceived usefulness of training, dan perceived efficiency of training. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada karyawan teknisi PT. Altrak 1978 yang telah menerima Training Cummins Engine Qualification dari September 2014 hingga Mei 2015 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner, lalu data yang didapat diolah menggunakan metode regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa variabel perceived usefulness of training memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap training satisfaction pada Training Cummins Engine Qualification, sedangkan perceived trainer performance dan perceived efficiency of training tidak berpengaruh secara positif. Dari hasil tersebut, bisa disimpulkan bahwa PT. Altrak 1978 harus berfokus pada manfaat training jika ingin mencapai training satisfaction yang maksimal pada Training Cummins Engine Qualification.
