Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of profitability ratio that measured with net profit margin, return on equity, and earning per share; leverage ratio that measured with debt to equity ratio; dividend per share; and systematic risk that measured with interest rate of Sertifikat Bank Indonesia (SBI) towards share price. Share price is important to be known by the shareholders and corporate because it indicates corporate performance. The samples were determined based on purposive sampling method. The samples used in this research are 12 companies which listed in Consumer Goods Sector of Indonesia Share Exchange and actively traded respectively for period 2010-2012; publish financial statements denominated in Rupiah for the year ended December 31, 2010, 2011, and 2012 which have been audited by independent auditor; obtain net income respectively for period 2010-2012; and distribute cash dividends respectively for period 2010-2012. The results of this research are (1) profitability ratio that measured with net profit margin has no effect to share price, (2) profitability ratio that measured with return on equity has no effect to share price, (3) profitability ratio that measured with earning per share has significant effect to share price, (4) leverage ratio that measured with debt to equity ratio has no effect to share price, (5) dividend per share has significant effect to share price, (6) interest rate of SBI has significant effect to share price, (7) profitability ratio that measured with net profit margin, return on equity, and earning per share; leverage ratio that measured with debt to equity ratio; dividend per share; and interest rate of SBI simultaneously have significant effect to share price.
