Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah perguruan tinggi DKV di Indonesia sudah meningkat secara drastis selama satu dekade terakhir. Dalam persaingan pasar yang semakin ketat, DKV Universitas Multimedia Nusantara sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi DKV di Indonesia membutuhkan branding untuk mempertahankan atau meningkatkan positioning di mata masyarakat. Ada hal-hal yang diunggulkan suatu brand yang bisa jadi tidak lagi relevan di masa depan. Branding penting karena branding dapat mempertahankan apa yang tidak dapat dipertahankan oleh perusahaan. Diferensiasi antar perguruan tinggi sudah mulai kabur, sehingga branding dibutuhkan untuk mengkomunikasikan ciri khas. Oleh karena itu penulis merancang sebuah brand communication untuk mengkomunikasikan ciri khas DKV Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
