Abstract

Setiap perusahaan membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kemampuan dan keahlian yang dapat mendukung produktivitas setiap karyawan dan dapat mencapai tujuan dari organisasi. Organisasi yang efekttif adalah organisasi yang mampu mencapai tujuan dari organisasi dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Faktor yang mempengaruhi organizational effectiveness di dalam suatu perusahaan adalah training atau berupa pelatihan kepada karyawan, career development atau upaya pengembangan karir untuk karyawan, performance managementatau manajemen kinerja yang dikelola baik di perusahaan serta employee competencies kompetensi yang dimiliki para karyawannya. Jadi, organizational effectiveness atau efektifitas organisasi sesungguhnya merupakan penilaian terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi serta proses atau cara pencapaian tujuan tersebut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis descriptive research melalui metode non- probability sampling dengan teknik judgement sampling. Data yang diperoleh dengan menyebar kuesioner adalah sebanyak 150 responden, dimana responden tersebut merupakan karyawan tetap PT. Media Televisi Indonesia dengan minimal bekerja 1 tahun. Data yang telah diperoleh ini kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode Structural equation modeling (SEM) dengan aplikasi software AMOS versi 23. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwatrainingmemiliki pengaruh positif terhadap employee competencies, terdapat pengaruh positif dari career developmentterhadap employee competencies, dan juga terdapat pengaruh positif dari performance management terhadap employee competenciesserta terdapat juga pengaruh positif dari employee competencies terhadap organizational effectiveness. Adapun hasil penelitian ini didukung oleh nilai RMSEA dan nilai X2/DF dengan masing-masing nilai yaitu 0.078 dan 1.902.
