Abstract

Perubahan preferensi masyarakat ke alternatif penginapan lain yang lebih murah, mengharuskan perusahaan yang bergerak di industri perhotelan untuk ikut berinovasi dengan ide-ide kreatif dan juga menggunakan berbagai saluran komunikasi agar mampu menjangkau semua publiknya. grandkemang Hotel Jakarta, salah satu hotel yang terletak di Jakarta Selatan menerapkan integrated marketing communications yang akan dijalankan oleh divisi marketing communications, antara lain berupa advertising, public relations, dan social media. Fokus utama dari divisi marketing communications terletak pada public relations dan social media, yang mencakup beberapa program seperti media relations, event, online public relations, social media management, dan social media engagement. Penulis tertarik untuk mempelajari sistem integrated marketing communications di bidang perhotelan, dan melakukan kerja magang selama 60 hari di grandkemang Hotel Jakarta. Selama kerja magang berlangsung, penulis mempelajari berbagai hal dalam penerapan integrated marketing communications di bidang perhotelan, khususnya dalam bidang public relations dan social media.
