Abstract

Perkembangan bisnis perhotelan yang semakin ketat di Indonesia mengharuskan setiap hotel agar mampu bersaing dan bertahan. Penerapan strategi yang tepat pun sangat dieprlukan agar dapat menarik perhatian para wisatawan untuk mengunjungi hotel, dalam hal ini maka diperlukan peran PR dalam menunjang kesusksesan hotelnya, yaitu melalui aktivitasnya sehingga fungsi managemen PR dapat dirasakan oleh hotelnya. PR ARA Hotel Gading Serpong meningkatkan daya saing hotelnya melalui berbagai aktivitas PR. Menciptakan brand awareness, image yang baik, dan meningkatkan sales menjadi tujuan utama PR ARA Hotel Gading Serpong. Hal ini pun di wujudkan melalui aktivitas media relations, PR writing, online PR, media monitoring, event management, dan lain-lain. Selama melakukan praktek magang di ARA Hotel Gading Serpong, penulis telah belajar dan mempraktikkan secara langsung berbagai aktivitas PR ARA Hotel Gading Serpong tersebut dan membuat penulis lebih memahami bahwa praktisi PR dituntut agar dapat melakukan tugas apa pun agar dalam menjalankan fungsi managemennya.
