Abstract

The purpose of this Industrial Placement is to enhance the student skills in the In Front Office Department, learn how to handling the guest complain, handling all the guest request that related with their hospitality needs, check-in and check-out process. This report is written to fulfill the course curriculum in Hotel Operation Multimedia Nusantara and hopefully can give enough information about the real hotel industries for the readers. The industrial Placement began on the 1st of July until 31st of December 2019. Most of the writer’s activity is about butler’s job in resort hotel, especially in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach and Resort. There are some problem during the Industrial Placement that the writer went through. And because of the problem, the writer can learn a lot from the experience. Some of the problem such as handling guest complain and have to do multiple of job in the same time. The writer hope that this Industrial Placement report can be used as a reference for the junior and the readers for those who want to work in the hotel industries, or for those who will face the Industrial Placement.
