Abstract

Gerak merupakan salah satu bagian utama dari animasi. Hal ini juga berlaku pada motion graphic, yang merupakan salah satu jenis animasi. Gerak berperan penting dalam menghidukan suatu elemen grafis yang ada. Elemen grafis sendiri merupakan objek-objek yang ada di dalam motion graphic. Selain itu, mengingat bahwa gerak merupakan salah satu bagian utama dalam animasi, penilaian penonton akan baik dan buruknya kualitas sebuah animasi dapat dipengaruhi oleh gerakan yang ada di dalamnya juga. Oleh karena itu, penulis memilih tema skripsi perancangan gerak elemen grafis pada motion graphic dalam film pendek "Semilih". Penulis akan melakukan penelitian untuk merancang gerak elemen grafis yang ada dengan didukung oleh berbagai teori dan konsep yang ditemukan dalam prosesnya. Penulis akan mengambil beberapa teori dan konsep utama yang berkaitan langsung dengan perancangan gerak yang akan diimplementasikan pada elemen grafis yang ada.
