Abstract

This study focused on the development of an electronic business (e-commerce). This new business idea is expected to be successful entrepreneurs and can compete in the Indonesian market. In addition, this research also focuses on user interface design to be convenient to use by its customers. The results of the application system will be measured using usability criteria. Criteria required in this e-commerce application are learnability, efficiency, memorability, error prevention, and satisfaction. This research uses Spiral system development method. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the criterion of learnability with an average value of 4.28 is the highest value. While efficiency with an average value of 4.15 is the lowest criteria. This research has successfully developed an e-commerce application system that can be used by customers. User-driven development with the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) approach has resulted in a good score. This study shows that the e-commerce application system creates an intimacy between customers and their products.
