Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country, consists of a number of islands, that air transportation certainly become a very important part. PTIK-BPPT (Agency for The Assessment and Application Technology), through the CNS-ATM (Communication Navigation and Surveillance - Air Traffic Management) program, develops SMART (Stand-alone Mobile Air Route Radar Terminal) prototype, which is a test vehicle for CNS-ATM functions and infrastructure for aviation in Indonesia. SMART system consists of several sub-systems, such as ADS-B receiver that serves to capture data sent by the aircraft. ADS-B receiver must be equipped with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system to display the aircraft routes or tracks in the air. The benefit of this system is able to monitor the aircraft routes or tracks in the air space of Indonesia in real time. In this research, HMI system was developed using Java Programming Language and utilized the OpenMap library.
