Abstract

This study is focused to examine the level of mutual fund investor acceptance of the successful implementation of a new mutual fund application in Indonesia called Bukareksa. Technology Acceptance Model is applied using 5 internal variables and 3 external variables. Internal variables include Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Actual System Use. External variables consist of User Interface, Content Design Quality, and Perceived Trust. The final result of data analysis is the discovery of several constructs which have significant positive effects. All three external constructs have significant positive effects on Perceived Ease of Use. Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use show positive affects significantly to Attitude Toward Using. Both Perceived Usefulness and Attitude Toward Using have significant positive effects on Behavioral Intention to Use. Only Behavioral Intention to Use has significant positive effect on Actual System Use. This finding will be useful for Web developers to apply online mutual funds features which are transformed from conventional mutual funds format.
