The cities around the world face challenges with the shortage of land and increased demand for housing. Limited land for area development might be to resolve urban land scarcity problems. In this case, the efficiency of land use and microhome has been seen as space-saving solutions. Especially in Indonesia, demographics show a rapidly growing youth population as well as increased demand for housing. Microhome has been widely studied from social, environmental to the construction aspects. The research tries to enrich the viewpoint of the "home" term on micro-scale houses through spatial concept design. The qualitative method is used to analyze the conceptual approach of designing. The conceptual approaches are interpreted by various schematic drawings related to the spatial concept. The finding shows that a home is very interpretatif depending on user and designer specific goals. Spatial relations included functional zoning, user and space interrelations, opening placement, spatial adjacencies, and spatial organization; response to context included environmental response through the building envelope concepts; and the spatial qualities consist of accommodated activities, customization program, interior detailing, lighting, need for adjacencies, circulation types or wall, floor and ceiling concepts as the design approaches will affect the architectural forms as well as increase home quality.
