Abstract

UMK merupakan tulang punggun perekonomian Indonesia. UMK menyumbang produk domestik bruto negara hingga 39% atau 5500 triliun per tahun, dan telah menyerap lebih dari 75% tenaga kerja. Meski memiliki potensi yang besar, hingga saat ini potensi beberapa UMK di Indonesia seperti Sagon Bakar Bu Irma masih belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan, masih banyak pemasalahan yang harus dibenahi, termasuk identitas merek. Identitas merek tentu menjadi hal penting telerbih bicara mengenai produk yang sudah lama ada dan tidak memiliki spesifikasi lokasi seperti sagon bakar, maka dari itu, dibutuhkan sebuah perancangan yang didukung proses riset mendalam agar merek tersebut dapat dengan mudah dibedakan dan diidentifikasi sekaligus dapat melekat kuat di benak masyarakat.
