Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang gerak animasi karakter berdasarkan three dimensional tokoh dalam film 3D pendek animasi "Mengejar Layangan". Penelitian akan mengacu pada gerakan berdasarkan three dimensional dari karakter-karakter pada animasi. Penelitian ini juga untuk memperdalam prinsip animasi yang digunakan untuk membuat gerak animasi. Setiap karakter memiliki three dimensional yang berbeda-beda yang memerlukan penelitian untuk mengerti bagaimana setiap orang memiliki perbedaan dalam kepribadian akan memiliki perbedaan gerak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengkajian literatur yang berhubungan dengan bahasa tubuh, dan animasi. Selain pengkajian literatur, penulis akan mencari referensi animasi untuk mempelajari bagaimana penerapan dari penelitian ini ke hasil akhir dari tugas akhir ini.
