Abstract

Hadirnya berbagai macam tipe dan jenis smartphone di pasaran tentu saja menyediakan begitu banyak pilihan kepada masyarakat dalam memilih produk smartphone. Terkadang hal itu membuat orang kesulitan untuk memilih smartphone yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Untuk membantu orang dalam memilih smartphone dibutuhkanlah sebuah sistem rekomendasi. Metode simple additive weighting merupakan salah satu metode yang umum digunakan pada pembangunan sistem rekomendasi. Metode ini dapat menentukan nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses perankingan yang akan menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif. Alternatif tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi tolak ukur penilaian bagi orang yang kesulitan memilih smartphone. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah Java, dan sistem yang dibangun berbasis mobile dengan sistem operasi andriod. Sistem dapat memberikan hasil rekomendasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan menghasilkan nilai kepuasan pengguna sebesar 87,33%.
