Abstract

Perancangan buku mengenai pengetahuan dasar menangani masalah pada Vespa klasik ini dibuat untuk menyediakan literasi yang terpercaya dan mudah dimengerti. Buku ini dirancang untuk pengendara Vespa klasik pemula dengan rentang usia 17- 30 tahun dan tidak memiliki banyak waktu untuk bergabung dengan komunitas ataupun menghabiskan waktu mempelajari mesin Vespa di bengkel. Dirancang berdasarkan metode penelitian wawancara dengan tokoh komunitas Vespa, observasi produk buku mengenai teknik Vespa klasik, dan juga studi pustaka dari literasi mengenai teknik mesin Vespa klasik. Disampaikan menggunakan konsep buku jurnal seorang pengendara Vespa klasik yang mendokumentasikan kisah hidupnya bersama Vespa di akhir dekade 1980 hingga 2000 awal. Diharapkan dengan dibuatnya buku ini, dapat membantu pengendara Vespa klasik lebih mengerti dan mengatasi masalah Vespa klasiknya, serta dapat menarik minat masyarakat umum terhadap Vespa klasik.
