Abstract

Corn has been one of important commodities over the world. Corn ability as the best food for diabetes patient play an important roles in increase production of corn. Besides, corn has been developed as the renewable petrol that can be use to fill vehicle tanks. Corn trading in the market use derivatives as one of the strategy to minimalize risk that trader can held because of price fluctuation. This papers is to analyze the effectiveness of hedging strategy using future contracts for corn commodities using Ordinary Least Square Methods.
