Abstract

Tanjung Kelayang adalah sebuah destinasi pariwisata yang berlokasi di Belitung, Indonesia. Sebagai destinasi pariwisata yang diperhatikan pemerintah dan diandalkan untuk membantu meningkatkan devisa negara, sangat disayangkan bahwa Tanjung Kelayang belum memiliki identitas visual maupun branding secara keseluruhan. Padahal, penting bagi sebuah destinasi pariwisata untuk memiliki identitas agar dapat dikomunikasikan kepada calon wisatawannya. Dalam menghadapi fenomena ini, penulis melakukan perancangan destination branding untuk Tanjung Kelayang. Perancangan dilakukan dengan mengacu pada metode perancangan Wheeler dan terbagi kedalam lima tahap. Melalui perancangan ini, penulis berharap dapat menghasilkan identitas dan branding yang baik dan sesuai dengan nilai yang ingin disampaikan oleh Tanjung Kelayang.
