Abstract

Istilah novel grafis (Graphic Novel) dicetuskan oleh maestro komik, Will Eisner, untuk menyebut jenis karya komiknya yang berjudul “A Contract with God“ di tahun 1978. Walaupun mempunyai istilah novel grafis, ternyata cerita novel grafis tidak dibuat berdasarkan novel. Penulis akan membuat penelitian untuk menginterpretasikan novel menjadi novel grafis.
