Abstract

Industrial Placement program in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara program aims for writer to apply skill and knowledge from class into the real industry, as well as to experience how the hospitality industry works. From all of the hotel and resort establish in Indonesia, Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa was the writer’s choice. The hotel is managed by Marriott International which is the biggest international hotel chain in the world. Besides, there are also some advantages that make Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa as a good choice. As written in the university rules, the Industrial Placement must be conducted for six months from January until July 2020. Unfortunately, starts from March 2020, the Industrial Placement ended because of the pandemic that spread all over the world. Within three months, the writer learned about food and beverages service in Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa. The Beverage and Food Service Department in Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa gave the writer some opportunities and responsibilities to handle the restaurant service. Writer could handle different kind of guest that came to the hotel. There are also some lessons that could be taken as writer makes some mistakes. Hopefully, this report could give a useful information regarding Industrial Placement, especially for juniors who want join Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa as the Young Ambassador.
