Abstract

The purpose of Industrial Placement is to improve the knowledge and enhance skills of Hotel Operations student in real hotel industry. The Industrial Placement was conducted from March 11th 2020 to September 10th 2020 at The Pullman Jakarta Central Park. But, as the government imposed tough restrictions on Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB), writer and other student can not continue the Industrial Placement program until 6 months. The senior staff gave writer key learning experiences and transferable skills to future career in Food and Beverage Service Department such as improving attitude, managing time to work fast with minor mistake, and work according to standard operational procedures in serving food and beverage. This report was completed after the second Industrial Placement ended. Hopefully this report can benefit the readers, especially for Hotel Operations juniors to have information about how the real hotel industry works and choose the department based on passion.
