Abstract

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara conducts the Industrial Placement for hotel students in the third and sixth semester. The purpose of this Industrial Placement program is to hone the writer’s skill in Room Division, especially in Front Office Department. This Industrial Placement program started in July 2019 until January 2020 at Pullman Hotel Central Park. This program is very important for writer because through this program, the writer will know more about the actual hotel industry and gain experience, so that from that experience the writer can take important knowledge from the hotel for self-development. This report is made as one of the graduation requirements for hospitality students at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara that must be fulfilled. There are a number of problems that occurred while conducting Industrial Placement programs at hotel, such as remembering the SOPs and handling guest complaints. However, these problems can be solved quickly by keep learning and be consistent to self-development. This report also contains all the details of workflow and job details in hotel from July 2019 to January 2020. From this report, hopefully readers can get complete and detailed information about what activities performed and see the actual conditions while working in a real hotel.
