Abstract

The aim for this Industrial Placement is to increase the skill and to have more knowledge about Room Division Department, especially in Front Office Department. This Industrial Placement was started in July 2019 and ended in December 2019. The writer choose Le Meridien because it is one of the five-star hotels in Jakata. It is located in Central Jakarta, a very strategic place to go around the city with public transportation. Industrial Placement is important for the writer because it can improve the skill and give experience by working directly in the real industry. By reading this report, hopefully readers can gain knowledge about the real condition of the hotel industry. Some problems that happens during the Industrial Placement is guests complaints, compensation inquiry from the guests, and guests questions about destination around the hotel. However, the problems can be solved by good coordination with the management. The document depicts all the details about the Industrial Placement which can be useful for improving the program in the future.
