Abstract

This report is made as partial fulfillment in the course curriculum and hopefully can provide detail information about what activities that are being performed in real workplace during Industrial Placement. The main purpose of Industrial Placement as one of the instrument to gain more knowledge as well as experience. The Industrial Placement could also beneficial for finding both likings and passion. Knowing about the actual workplace environment and workflow would also help both writer and readers to find job in the future. The experience could also be used as a learning material or references as well as to help decision making or problem solving in the future. The Industrial Placement itself has been started since July 2019 and will be completed in January 2020. The purpose is to sharpen the student's skill in Room Division especially in Front Office Department. During the Industrial Placement, there are problems that occur in the hotel such as complaints from guest and other unexpected cases. However, such problem can be thoroughly solved with a good coordination and teamwork within the departments and staff in the hotel. The information and knowledge that have been gathered could also used for guidance in future training program or course curriculum. Readers could also use this report as references or learning material according to their necessity. Therefore, writer hope that the report could help the readers in any means and be used wisely for learning purposes.
