Abstract

One of the requirements as a Hotel Operations Program students in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara is to do an Industrial Placement. Before applying for the Industrial Placement, it becomes a necessity to complete all of the requirement forms, such as: CV, Cover Letter, and other important files that must be fulfilled. JW Marriott Hotel is a five star hotel in the city of Jakarta. This hotel is located at Jl. Lingkar Mega Kuningan 1-2. To facilitate guests, JW Marriott Hotel has several kinds of guest rooms that can make guests comfortable while staying, such as Deluxe Room, Executive Room, Governor Suite, Diplomat Suite, JW Suite and Presidential Suite. It is provided with Smoking and Non Smoking Room.. Furthermore, this Industrial Placement is important because the writer can be in real situation and learn from it directly, not theoretically. From all the problems and errors that occurred, the writer can grow to be more professional and experienced in handling problems in a hotel. This report provides detailed information regarding the work system in the hotel industry, including charts of the General Organization, Front Office organization, Housekeeping Organization, and also standard hotel procedures. The writer hopes this report can be a guide for Hotel Operation students who will undergo Industrial Placement in a hotel industry.
