Abstract

The objective of this Industrial Placement is to enhance the skill of the writer in Front Office Department at Novotel Tangerang. The program held for 6 months, started from 17 July 2019 until 17 January 2020. Industrial Placement is very important for the writer because there are a lot of things to learn in real hotel industry. The writer can experienced Hotel working environment, while gathering knowledge and shaping operational skills. This report is made as a partial fulfillment of the course curriculum. Hopefully this report can provide detailed information about activities carried out during the Industrial Placement and how the real Hotel industry works for the readers. There are several problems and cases occurred during training programs and the writer learned there will be solutions that can be given for this case, so people should not panic when seeing any incidents happen. If emergency occurred, one can immediately report to the hotel officer and give good coordination with other party involved. Hopefully, any information written in this report can help readers while undergoing an Industrial Placement.
