Abstract

Industrial Placement is an obligation for all students of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, especially the Hotel Operations students. Objective of this Industrial Placement is to give an experience for all students to work directly in the real industry. In Hotel Operations Program, students that already complete the second semester could facing a sixmonths long Industrial Placement on the third semester either in Front Office Department or Housekeeping Department. At Grand Kemang Hotel Jakarta, the Industrial program started from 1 July 2019 to January 2020. From this program, writer got so many important knowledge and experience about room division and Housekeeping Department. This report is made to fulfill the graduation obligations in the curriculum which provide information about what activities are carried out as a trainee that working in the Housekeeping department such all the job desk and responsibility of room attendant, laundry attendant, and order taker. This document contains all the details about the activities carried out during the writer training from 1 July 2019 to 1 January 2019. This information can be a reference or company for other training programs or lead to the curriculum on campus. More about the report, it also contain the Organizational chart of the hotel and Housekeeping Organizational chart. Might this report can be a guidance for Hotel Operation’s student who will has an internship in Grand Kemang Hotel Jakarta.
