Abstract

Larangan anak laki-laki untuk menangis sering sekali terdengar di masyarakat sosial ini. Hal ini muncul dari sistem sosial tradisional yang sudah tertanam sejak lama di dalam masyarakat sehingga memunculkan stereotip bahwa laki-laki harus terlihat kuat dan tidak cengeng. Sayangnya, larangan itu dapat menimbulkan dampak yang buruk bagi sang anak sendiri dan juga terhadap orang lain ketika mereka beranjak dewasa. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang penulis sebarkan kepada anak laki-laki, masih cukup banyak dari mereka yang takut mengekspresikan kesedihannya karna tidak ingin dianggap lemah. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan solusi untuk meningkatkan awareness anak akan pentingnya mengekspresikan kesedihan mereka dengan dirancangnya sebuah buku ilustrasi.
