Abstract

Maintenance pada mesin produksi pabrik adalah faktor penting dalam proses produksi, agar prosesnya tidak terputus, maka menjaga mesin-mesin pabrik sangatlah penting bagi perusahaan manufaktur. Melakukan estimasi biaya maintenance juga menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam menekan biaya. Dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat pengambil keputusan dalam menekan biaya. PT Powerindo Prima Perkasa dan seluruh perusahaanya tidak terlepas dari masalah estimasi biaya maintenance ini. Berdasarkan dari data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumenter ini penentuan estimasi biaya pemeliharaan dapat ditentukan menjadi dua metode, yaitu maintenance corrective dan maintenance preventive, dimana biaya untuk kedua metode tersebut, ditentukan dengan menggunakan tradisional costing. Dengan pengolahan kedua metode ini, menghasilkan selisih angka mencapai Rp 443.240.024, angka tersebut didapat dengan menggunakan metode maintenance corrective.
