Abstract

Editor adalah orang yang berperan besar dalam post production, salah satu tugas seorang editor adalah menjahit kembali cerita yang telah di eksekusi dari hasil pra produksi hingga produksi, menjadi sebuah kesatuan cerita yang baik yang dapat dipahami oleh penontonnya. Seorang editor harus memiliki sense dalam melakukan setiap potongan pada frame, karna setiap frame dapat menghasilkan ritme yang berbeda. Ritme merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam melakukan editing, ritme dalam editing dapat melahirkan sebuah emosi dalam cerita, oleh karena itu laporan pada tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana teori ritme Michael Frierson mengenai Internal & External Rhythm dalam editing dapat mendukung sebuah emosi dalam cerita.
