Abstract

Dari salah satu peristiwa sejarah Indonesia saja (Sejarah Permesta), seorang penulis skenario dapat menemukan potensi cerita dan karakter fiksi yang berbeda- beda, apalagi Indonesia masih memiliki banyak sekali peristiwa sejarah di dalamnya. Sehingga hal ini dapat dimanfaatkan seorang penulis skenario untuk menguliknya menjadi sebuah skenario film panjang fiksi. Oleh karena itu, skripsi penciptaan ini penting agar pembuat film di Indonesia lebih peka terhadap hal ini, terutama mahasiswa-mahasiswi film di Indonesia yang nantinya akan menjadi generasi penerus perfilman Indonesia. Sehingga berbagai sejarah dan kebudayaan Indonesia dapat diceritakan kembali, lagi dan lagi. Selain itu skripsi penciptaan ini adalah penelitan lebih lanjut dari penelitan sebelumnya dari Andhito Dewantoro, untuk mengembangkan teori Story World sebagai konflik. Di mana penulis akan menerapkan sejarah Permesta dalam pembentukan Story World sebagai konflik pada skenario film panjang fiksi milik penulis, yang berujudul "Love Is Not Destiny".
