Abstract
Panel surya merupakan salah satu alat yang memanfaatkan teknologi fotovoltaik. Mayoritas panel surya dipasang secara stationary yang berarti penghasilan daya kurang maksimal karena panel surya tidak selalu menghadap matahari. Pada penelitian ini, dirancang sistem instalasi panel surya yang menggunakan sistem kendali full state observer yang dirancang menggunakan metode diagram root locus dan metode pole placement agar panel surya dapat menghadap matahari secara terus-menerus. Sistem menggunakan empat light dependent resistor sebagai sensor dan dua motor servo sebagai aktuator yang mewakili sumbu vertikal dan horizontal. Didapatkan sistem kendali yang respon dan performanya serupa dengan perancangan. Sistem kendali juga menghasilkan peningkatan daya sebesar 56 60%.
