Abstract

At the Nusantara Multimedia University (UMN), the writer chose D3 in Hotel Operations Program and took three years of study. Semester one and two mostly learn about room division, namely Front Office and Housekeeping. According to the department, they want to take in the 3rd semester; all students must carry out an Industrial Placement Program (Housekeeping / Front office.) Before carrying out the Industrial Placement Program, students will choose the hotel they want and take a fit and proper test to find out how far information is about the hotel. And selected divisions. In March 2020, a pandemic of Covid-19 had entered Indonesia, and all students do the online learning process. This pandemic makes it difficult for students to carry out the Industrial Placement process at the hotel because most hotels do not open an Industrial Placement process. Therefore, UMN gave the option to do Industrial Placement at UMN Dormitory or do a project to make learning videos with the lecturers. The Industrial Placement process starts in July 2020 - October 2020. This report is written as a part of the curriculum's fulfilment to meet the requirements for the third semester of graduation. Furthermore, this report contains the Industrial Placement Program's rules, regulations, technicalities, and arrangements. This report can be a reference for Juniors at the UMN Hotel Operations Program, who will carry out the Industrial Placement process in the third semester.
