Abstract

The Industrial Placement Program that has been held by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara Hotel Operations Program aims at the writer who wants to increase skills in the real hospitality industry in the Housekeeping Department focusing on cleaning resident rooms and public areas. This Industrial Placement Program started from July 7th until October 23rd, 2020 at the Dormitory UMN. At the UMN Dormitory, the writer is responsible to maintain the cleanliness of the dormitory area. Problems found when the writer is doing the Industrial Placement Program at UMN Dormitories such as lack of chemicals and equipment. However, the problem can be solved under the supervision of the supervisor and also the directions of the CSO by splitting trainees into a group to clean dormitory areas. This report is written as part of the fulfillment of the course curriculum. Hopefully, this report can give detailed information that can help the next batch when Industrial Placement Program in the real industry especially when doing Industrial Placement Program in the Housekeeping Department.
