Abstract
The objective of this industrial placement program is to gain more knowledge and personal experience as a front office team in handling real time guest inside a fully running hotel. Gaining more real experience in doing all of front office’s responsibilities and having a new mindset and routine in how to deal and socializing with both guest and other colleagues. With the industrial placement program, more undergraduate are able to have the soft skills and hard skills before jumping right through the hospitality industry. The program also lead undergraduate to extend their networking to gain more network before joining the industry. This report is composed through the author experience in doing industrial placement program in hotel’s front office department that could give an insight for the readers on what really happened during the industrial placement program. Throughout the program, there are a small number of challenges that could be overcome by the help of supervisors. Within the report, there are also a number of daily routine and SOP that is applies inside a hospitality industry. Hopefully, this report could helped as a reference for future reader on educational program.
