Abstract

Hotel Ibis Padang is one of international chain hotel located in Padang. Hotel Ibis Padang has several departments, the writer is placed in front office department and housekeeping department. In the Front Office department, the writer is responsible of reservation, operator, concierge, and front desk agent while in Housekeeping department the writer is responsible of room attendant and order taker. the writer chooses Hotel Ibis Padang because this hotel was vote as traveler choice 2020 on TripAdvisor. After having industrial placement at Hotel Ibis Padang, the writer gains more experience and knowledge related to hospitality industry especially in Front Office and Housekeeping Department.
