Abstract

Surakarta memiliki keanekaragaman jenis kuliner hasil pencampuran budaya masyarakat yang beragam, contohnya timlo, tahu kupat, sate buntel, tengkleng, sate kere, lendre, serabi, selat solo dan lain-lain. Buku kuliner sudah banyak yang menerbitkan tentang kuliner tradisional khususnya di Surakarta, namun kuliner tradisional yang seringkali di terbitkan melalui buku seringkali menampilkan jenis kuliner yang terdapat di Surakarta bukan keaslian dari kota Surakarta. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui kuantitatif seperti menyebarkan kuesioner dan kualitatif seperti observasi dan wawancara. Salah satu hasil menunjukan pengetahuan mengenai kuliner tradisional di Surakarta rendah. Melalui perancangan tersebut penulis berharap masyarakat mampu lebih mengenal jenis-jenis kuliner tradisional Surakarta yang termasuk dari bagian pelestariannya.
