Abstract

Negara Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia dengan jumlah pulau sebanyak 17.508 dan lebih dari 360 ragam kelompok etnis. Maka dari itu, Indonesia mewarisi berbagai macam kebudayaan daerah yang unik. Sayangnya, kebudayaan daerah kini terancam termakan arus globalisasi. Padahal kebudayaan daerah merupakan pusaka bangsa yang mengandung identitas negara dan penting untuk dilestarikan. Maka dari itu, dibuat sebuah perancangan ensiklopedia digital dengan fokus terhadap seni tari tradisional di Jawa Barat dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan menanamkan kesadaran serta kepedulian mengenai seni tari tradisional dan kebudayaannya terhadap anak umur 9-12. Dipilih fokus terhadap seni tari tradisional karena seni tari tradisional merupakan bentuk pernyataan budaya daerah.
