Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of liquidity that was measured by current ratio, solvency measured by debt to equity ratio, total asset turnover, and firm size on company profitability. The samples in this study were selected using the purposive sampling method. The data used in this research was secondary data. The data was analyzed using multiple regression linear. The result of this research are (1) liquidity has no significant effect towards profitability, (2) solvability had a negative and significant effect towards profitability, (3) total asset turnover had a positive and significant towards profitability, (4) firm size had a positive and significant towards profitability, (5) liquidity (current ratio), solvability (debt to equity ratio), total asset turnover, and firm size simultaneously have a significant effect towards profitability. The limitations in this study were that the data used were only during 3-year period and the adjusted R-square was only 11.2%. This research was a contribution in financial accounting.
