Abstract

Reon Comics merupakan penerbit komik bulanan yang berupaya untuk membangkitkan industri komik di Indonesia. Pada kesempatan ini, penulis memilih Reon Comics (PT Wahana Inspirasi Nusantara) sebagai perusahaan untuk pelaksanaan magang karena menyediakan posisi untuk intern illustrator. Reon Comics menyediakan tugas ilustrasi untuk konten instagram secara berkala agar tetap update bersama audiens mereka. Untuk menciptakan konten yang up-to-date, maka dibutuhkan kemampuan illustrator untuk memahami tren yang sedang terjadi di masyarakat. Selain itu, illustrator juga harus mampu memenuhi deadline secara tepat waktu. Melalui kegiatan magang ini, penulis belajar untuk disiplin terhadap tenggat waktu dan mengasah art fundamentals dalam membuat sebuah ilustrasi. Selain pengembangan diri, penulis juga mempelajari sistem kerja dalam industri komik Indonesia.
