Abstract

re:ON Comics merupakan perusahaan yang mempromosikan dirinya melalui feed media sosial, sering kali menggunakan tokoh-tokoh maskot mereka yang digambarkan menggunakan gaya "manga". Seringkali, bisa dilihat dalam feed media sosial re:ON bahwa tokoh maskot dalam post-post tertentu tidak memiliki gaya gambar yang sama dengan gambar yang dapat dilihat di website resmi re:ON. Dalam laporan skripsi ini, penulis akan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif untuk mencoba menjelaskan proses penerapan gaya gambar "chibi" pada tokoh- tokoh maskot re:ON, dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang perlu dipertimbangkan saat mentranslasikan tokoh dari gaya manga "standar" menjadi "chibi" atau "Super Deformed" (SD) untuk pengerjaan tugas ilustrasi untuk Hari Perdamaian Internasional 2021.
