Abstract

Editing merupakan proses mengatur, meninjau, memilih, dan merakit gambar dan suara yang diambil selama proses produksi. Hasil editing harus memiliki makna yang koheren sehingga dapat menyampaikan pesan yang ingin disampaikan melalui karya editing tersebut (Bowen & Thompson, 2009). Proses editing dilakukan oleh seorang editor melalui beberapa tahap editing, yaitu acquire, organize, review and select, assemble, rough cut, fine cut, picture lock, master and deliver. AVB Media Asia merupakan perusahaan di bawah naungan PT Indovision Prima Film. AVB Media Asia berfokus melayani Corporate Video, TV Commercial, dan Film Production. Di AVB Media Asia penulis melakukan praktik kerja magang sebagai video editor. Penulis meminta project kepada production manager dan content manager agar penulis dapat mengerjakan project baik dari AVB Media Asia dan Bali Go Live. Tugas yang dikerjakan penulis berfokus pada editing video dari project AVB Media Asia dan Bali Go Live. Tidak hanya menjadi video editor penulis juga mempelajari bagaimana sistem perusahaan production house, presentasi ide konten kepada client, dan mengenal berbagai equipment shooting milik perusahaan. Selain mengerajakan editing video, penulis juga diberi kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan lainnya seperti membuat moodboard, menjadi PIC, mengoperasikan drone dan kamera, dan juga mengikuti meeting bersama client.
