Abstract

E-commerce, in general, can be interpreted as buying and selling transactions electronically through internet media. Besides, e-commerce can also be interpreted as a process of doing business using electronic technology that connects companies, consumers and society in the form of electronic transactions and the exchange or sale of goods, services, and information electronically. An example of e-commerce that is well-known in Indonesia is Tokopedia. According to the data, Tokopedia is an e-commerce website that ranks first in Indonesia, which implies that the public's interest in visiting the Tokopedia website is high. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model by adopting the variables used in previous studies, namely, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived ease of use, Perceived Risk, Satisfaction with Past Transact, and Trust. This study is focused on finding factors of Tokopedia user acceptance factor since Tokopedia is the number one e-commerce in Indonesia in terms of most users. The results of this study will be compared with some previous researches. The data used to conduct this study was collected by distributing questionnaires through Google Form and processed using Structural Equation Modeling method.
