Abstract

Penerapan tata kamera merupakan hal yang penting dalam penyampaian pesan dalam film. Seorang Director of Photography diharapkan mampu menerjemahkan naskah sesuai dengan konsep dan visi yang diinginkan oleh sutradara kedalam narasi visual. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini penulis dengan teman-teman membuat sebuah film pendek berjudul Kunang-Kunang yang bercerita tentang seorang kakak yang mencari cahaya untuk adiknya yang takut gelap. Karakter Kakak, dalam film ini, digambarkan sebagai tokoh yang berusaha seorang diri, tanpa ada yang membantu. Dalam film ini, penulis sebagai Director of Photography menerapkan tata kamera statis untuk menggambarkan kesendirian karakter utama di lokasi kota dan jalan belakang. Kesimpulannya adalah penerapan kamera yang statis dapat menjadi opsi untuk menggambarkan kesendirian pada karakter utama.
