Abstract

Karakter hantu didunia film horror menjadi hal penting, karena dari karakter inilah sumber dari ketakutan berasal. Sadako hantu yang berasal dari Jepang dan kuntilanak hantu yang berasal dari Indonesia memiliki kesamaan dan perbedaan. Dalam skripsi akan menganalisa dua karakter hantu tersebut. Kesamaan dan perbedaan dalam hal three-dimensional character, character background, vengeful spirit, ketakutan, sejarah dan juga folklore.
