Abstract

The internship was conducted at PT Bilna (Orami Indonesia) in Finance & HR division as a account payable staff. During the internship, some tasks already done such as preparing petty cash, recapitulation of vendor data, numbering journal voucher, journalizing of receipt and expense transactions, inputting payment transaction of Social Security and Healthcare Security (BPJS), journalizing payment transaction of income tax, preparing procedure for vendor payment, preparing bank reconciliation, checking and inputing transaction, make the payment process to the vendor with Xendit and making recapitulation of payment transactions. The difficulties encountered during the internship were the information contained in the bank mutation is not clear, there is a bill that does not exist because it is missing or tucked away and there is no evidence of complete supporting document for the transaction to be processed by the finance team. The solutions were matching based on nominal appropriateness between bank mutation and transaction database in the system for each transaction, must be more carefully. Other solution is examination of existence document which should be arrange alphabetically. For uncomplete supporting document for the transaction, we can request the supporting documents to the related division that performs the related transaction.
