Abstract

The internship was conducted at Suganda Akna Suhri and Rekan Public Accountant on July 03, 2017 until September 29, 2017 with the placement in the audit division as junior auditor. During the internship, the tasks that were done are; doing the notes to financial statement in 2016, footing and proofreading, performing fixed asset opname, cash opname, stock opname, preparing recapitulation of RUPSLB, preparing the format of a statement letter of directors, management representative letter, and audit opinion, create a negative covenant disclosure, doing the working papers of cash and bank, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses. During the internship, most of the tasks can be executed properly. There are some constraint found, for examples the data required to fixed assets disclosure of PT KSJ is incomplete. To solve the problem, we are doing a follow-up until the data is obtained. The suggestion is the auditor should communicate frequently with the client's employee in order to get the data on time.
