Abstract

The internship was conducted at Tax Consultant Office of Edy Gunawan and positioned in Junior Tax Consultant division which provides services related to calculation, payment, and tax reporting for individual and corporate tax payers. Several companies were handled such as PT. NJP, PT. CGJ, PT. GSM, PT. SJM, PT. HGJ, PT. IET, PT. RSAK, PT. GFP, PT. SKH, CV. YSB, CV. CKA, PT. PTR. The tasks performed are checking final income tax, checking VAT, checking Tax Article 25, recapitulating employee salaries data, inputting VAT, inputting bank statement, making reply letter for tax office, inputting data transaction into MYOB application, preparing Annual Individual Tax Return (SPT) and registering EFIN. During the internship most of the tasks can be executed properly. Several obstacles were found such as lack of data and incomplete data. The solutions for the problems, are requesting more information from the client and making sure the client already give all the needed data prior to engagement.
